Scanning electron microscopy is a core investigation technique at the Department of Physics of Materials, CUNI. Currently, three microscopes are being operated. The microscopes have different imaging qualities, depending on their age, and different usability, depending on their type, mounted detectors and auxiliary equipment. In the seminar, the microscopes and their possibilities for imaging, analysis, and additional experiments will be introduced. The second part of the seminar will be focused on the selected results achieved during the last years.
