Research Activities

  • Theory of condensed matter phenomena: Magnetism, Spin-dependent electron transport and other spintronics phenomena, Magnetization dynamics, Nonequilibrium states, Ultrafast processes.
  • Employed methods: First principles calculations (density functional theory), Green’s function theory, Linear response theory, Atomistic spin dynamics.
  • Studied systems: Graphene, Low-dimensional magnetic systems and nanostructures, Topological insulators, Magnetic materials driven out of equilibrium.
