In our research, we are focused on nanoparticles, i.e. materials with nanometer dimensions like magnetic nanoparticles, nanodiamonds, graphene nanomaterials and two-dimensional crystals, with regard to their physical interactions with organic molecules and light.

We are especially looking into following areas:

• Cryomagnetic Raman and PL spectroscopy

• Materials design of layered compounds and spin hybrids

• Heating via nanomagnets
