Dr. Sachin Verma joined our team in July 2024.
He obtained his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Ajay in February 2024 from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. The title of his Ph.D. thesis is "Theoretical Study of the Spectral Properties and Thermoelectric Transport across Superconductor/Normal Metal and Quantum Dot Hybrid Nanodevices".
His research aims to investigate the open quantum systems, specifically spectral properties and charge, spin, heat, and thermoelectric transport properties of correlated quantum dots by utilizing different types of reservoirs, like normal metallic, s-wave superconducting, ferromagnetic reservoirs or topological superconducting nanowires
He will be working on the topic "Superconducting nanohybrids out of equilibrium" at Charles University.
