My current research delves into the cutting-edge field of nanoscale control of magnetism, particularly through non-equilibrium photon pumping and phonon excitations. Utilizing first-principles calculations, I am investigating how external stimuli, such as light and lattice vibrations, can be harnessed to modulate magnetic properties at the atomic scale. This research aims to unlock new possibilities for ultrafast magnetism, enabling the design of materials that respond to light and vibrations in ways that could revolutionize data storage technologies, spintronics, and magnetic sensing devices. In addition to this, my previous work has focused on both theoretical and experimental studies of advanced materials for renewable energy applications. I have explored the development of tunable energy band gap materials and investigated the role of back surface field layers in enhancing the efficiency of solar cells. My research has extended into the study of electrocatalytic materials aimed at improving energy conversion processes, such as the reduction of carbon emissions and water oxidation reactions. These projects have allowed me to contribute to the growing knowledge in sustainable energy technologies and innovative material design.
